I wanted to get rid of everything in the background, but our flat is pretty small and so it's very hard to find a blank space

I love the detail in the hair and the lighting on my right hand (left side of pic

).

this is the opposite pic. [link] more explanation there on what the idea is.

This was taken for my application to Falmouth uni to do a Photography BA. 6 shots, self portraits essentially. I had other choices but this seemed the most fun. + i never do self portraits without my camera in my hand. fingers crossed it helps me get in.

i got tom to press the shutter in this case, but you can do it with one shot as well. or invest in a remote shutter release.
